Policy

One of the tasks of the Centre is to advise the various authorities and assist them in carrying out their tasks.

The Centre is designated as a Belgian contact point for European networks such as RAXEN (Racism and Xenophobia Network Europe) and the "National Contact Points on Integration". The Centre has also been asked to prepare a "National Action Plan for combating racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance" in order to implement the recommendations of the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance, which the United Nations organised in September 2001 in the South African city of Durban.

With a view to the tasks which the Centre is required to perform at both the international and national level, it goes without saying that the Centre monitors political developments at various levels

In this section of the website we provide an overview of all players and agencies that play a role at any level.
